JUNISE Plastics Inc. is very conscious of its impact on the environment. To better understand the efforts made by Junise we will have to elaborate on the company's political agenda & philosophy and the approach for the development of new products.

Political Agenda & Company Philosophy

JUNISE makes active efforts to minimize all the materials consumed and maximize on the waste materials recuperated for recycling. In our offices, we've installed only energy efficient appliances and fixtures to reduce our energy consumption. We also try to consume the least amount of office supplies possible and recuperate as much recyclable waste possible. We have implemented initiatives to reduce stationery and paperwork by printing the least amount of documents possible and by circulating electronic documents and e-mails whenever possible.

In our warehouse and manufacturing facilities, we've worked closely with Hydro-Quebec to reduce the energy consumption of both the building and our production machinery. More recently, we have invested and installed new equipment that has helped us reduce our water consumption by 40%. We recycle, on average, 60% of our waste (plastic, paper/cardboard, metals and other residual wastes). We have instored many internal procedures to deal with the treatment of raw materials, storage of our products, maintenance of our facilities, maintenance of the production equipment, recuperation and disposal of residual materials, etc...

These are examples of the efforts made by JUNISE Plastics to assure the health and safety of our employees, our customers and most importantly the Environment.

Aside from making efforts in our own establishment, we try to pass on our philosophies to the many companies we deal with regularly. We always suggest ecological/degradable alternatives for the conception of any project in order to reduce your environmental impact as well. We are the experts in poly packaging solutions, and therefore it is our responsibility to keep the public informed.
